Brief Description
Prof Muhler's research group conducts basic research in the field of heterogeneous catalysis. The scientific challenge is to elucidate the reactions at the atomic level and their interaction with the complex surface chemistry of catalytically active solids. The reactions investigated are part of industrial redox chemistry.
